As I was heading home, I came across this cat in a very photogenic street. I quickly grabbed my camera, and fortunately, it was still hanging around when I returned. I edited some of these pictures in Lightroom and also decided to experiment with After Effects on two of them (the first and last ones in the gallery), incorporating displacement maps, dither patterns, blur, and glow effects.
I'm genuinely pleased with the resulting Y2K-esque look, it was a fun experiment. The post-processing workflow I developed can also be applied to a video source, and I'll likely continue to play around with it in the future.
