A violin/piano duet I composed and performed for my little brother's 9th birthday.
Jan's such a wonderful and energetic kid. He's always the first one up in our home, even before the sun (this includes weekends lol). With this piece, I wanted to capture not just his unique personality, but also to create a thank-you note for all the memories we've made together, and all the ones still to come. He's been learning the piano for a couple of years now, and my plan was to play it together (though I might've overestimated his hand stretch, so it'll be some time before he can tackle the piano part on his own, oopsies).
In this MV I've repurposed some footage of Barcelona's beach I shot for a project that will be coming very soon, so stay tuned!
