During a vacation trip to Iceland (back in 2018), I decided to, not only film the landscapes I visited (instead of taking photographs, as I usually did), but also to interview the local family with whom we were staying, as an exercise for me to step out of my creative zone of comfort (while limiting myself to the exclusive use of a 85 mm lens, on an APS-C DSLR). After a two-year hiatus, I revisited the footage and the project was brought back to life.
